Entire Cozy 2-Bedroom House in Mount Waverley

Positive: Close to the places we intented to go. Shops and food options close by. Nice area. Beds were comfortable however pillows weren't great. Bathroom was good and shower worked well. The aircon worked nicely for the few hot days we had Negative: Lack of security and privacy. Front and side gate weren't lockable and on 2 occasions people entered the property for gardening with no warning. 10 digit code for the door is ridiculous!. No blinds which seems to be a common review and has been ignored for atleast a year. We could see right into the neighbours yard. Kitchen lacked essentials, bin was tiny. No clothes rack or pegs so had utilised the dryer. 2 seater couch didn't accommodate the 4 of us which made for an uncomfortable 11 day stay. Get rid of the earl grey teabags and just have standard teabags. TV reception wasn't great but mostly watched Netflix. There was grass growing from the trim around the robe in one of the bedrooms! Requested an invoice on a number of occasions due to it being a business trip but have been flat out ignored. All in all I wouldn't recommend this place and having travelled to Melbourne a few times now this would be one of the worst places we have stayed.

Good value & nice Positive: Nice two bedroom house, big yard, off street parking, has ducted aircon, plenty of space inside the house & outside if you have kids. Set up nicely with extras ~ books, toys . Comfy bed, pillows not great though. Short walk to a great coffee shop & ten minutes max to the Glen. Negative: The kitchen bin was tiny , like a little office bin~ weird, no top sheet on the bed~ weird again & the door code is ten numbers long, so you need to screen shot the check in details to remember it .

Overall ok but kettle was rusty. Positive: Quite clean including bedsheets. Big space big yard. Negative: Kettle was rusty n needs to be changed. There was a cupboard with mop n broom n smells bad. Agree with previous reviews that there should be curtains in living room.

I would stay again but would pale a bag of essentials Positive: It was very close to hospital so very convenient Negative: They need to have milk in fridge sugar and toilet paper paper when you have driven a long way all you want is a good cup of tea and not enough paper to last the night

Disappointing place in a good location Positive: Location was good and quiet. Property itself was ok and the beds were comfy. Negative: There was no blind or curtain in the living room, which after reading previous reviews has obviously been like that for a long time and the owners have chosen not to do anything about it which is disappointing. It made the room feel cold and the lack of privacy was a concern. Overall the place showed a lack of care and love, and the bare minimum was provided. There was one coffee pod for a three night stay so we couldn't even use the coffee machine. The door code also malfunctioned and locked us out. We tried contacting the hosts via phone and left a voicemail which they never returned. Thankfully after a few minutes we tried again and we got in but the lack of contact was disappointing. No other amenities available.
